Sunday School at First Church of God is for everyone. We have classes for all ages. Sunday School is held at 9:30 A.M., just after our first worship service and just prior to our second worship service.

Nursery is provided for children under 3. Care in this class is provided by Bev Howe and Annette Spahr.

In our Preschool Class, one can find ages 3-4 years. Each week's lesson revolves around one or more Bible verses put into their language. Lesson are done with a felt board and lots of child interaction. We also do activity pages relating to the story. We have hands on experiences and snacks too!

Our Kindergarten Class, grades First and Third, is taught by Sarah Pickel and Patsy Dunlap. Our lesson includes a story, activity pages, and sharing time.

The Junior Class will find fourth and fifth grade students. We read a story, do activity pages about the story, and do other related hands on experiences.

Middle School, sixth thru twelth graders can be found in our Youth Class. This class is taught by Julie Payne.


  "Weeds & Seeds"  is taught by Pastor Dennis Hamsher.

Jim Bender and Gary Shirley are the teachers in our Reliables and Leif Memorial Class.

Helping Hands Class
Like to study the Bible and it's History? Well this class won't leave you thirsty. Come and join us as we discover the essentials for making it through life's uncertain times. We may not have all the answers, but we know the One Who does. Join with us on Sunday mornings, it could be a life changing experience.  This class is lead by Bill Mowery.
