Community OutReach Events is the church serving the community with with home projects — e.g. yard work, minor construction and repair, roof repair and painting. It’s a practical way of sharing Christ’s love.
Handyperson
Primary Duties
- Odd physical labor jobs
- Talking with the home owners
- Physical labor
- Job site clean up
- Some will provide transportation
- Some will shop for supplies
Requirements
- While handyperson skills are plus, they’re not required
- Any age
Frequency
- Unscheduled, jobs are scheduled as needs arise
Training
- Someone with handyman skills will help/guide the work
Meal Crew
Primary Duties
- Prepare and deliver drinks/meals to laborers
